Interstate Corporate Center, Norfolk, VA

Project Overview

The Interstate Corporate Center (ICC) is a 440,000 square feet office park spread out over 17 buildings in Norfolk, VA. CDS has been engaged to manage the replacement of several buildings’ roof and HVAC systems. In addition, CDS has represented the landlord in the completion of four tenant buildouts at ICC. On every project, CDS has delivered the finished product on or ahead of schedule and under budget.

Roof and HVAC Replacement (Ongoing)

  • Represented landlord in coordinating the replacement of roof assemblies and rooftop HVAC units on six (6) occupied office buildings, totaling approximately 200,000 SF.
  • Scope included coordination with contractor, property management team, tenants and 3rd party insurers to ensure seamless, uninterrupted business operation throughout each replacement.

 

Virginia Department of Social Services (Completed June 2017)

  • Represented landlord in managing the renovation of 35,000 SF in a fully operational office building to accommodate tenant’s requirements.
  • Completed a full renovation of the building lobby while maintaining full operational continuity for existing tenants.
  • Scope included procurement and management of design & construction and procurement & coordination of all tenant’s furniture, fixtures and equipment.

 

McKesson Central Business Office (Completed July, 2017)

  • Represented landlord in managing the renovation of 24,000 SF in a fully operational office building to accommodate tenant’s requirements.
  • Completed a full renovation of the building lobby while maintaining full operational continuity for existing tenants.
  • Scope included procurement & management of design and construction and coordination & installation of tenant’s modular wall system.

 

Aetna (Completed May 2017)

  • Represented landlord in fast track renovation of 5,000 SF in existing operational office building to accommodate tenant’s needs and aggressive completion requirements.
  • Scope included procurement and management of design and construction, and coordination with tenant’s 3rd party project management team.

 

Virginia Department of Social Services (Completed June 2017)
